David Khazam is a Venezuelan multimedia artist based in Toronto. His art practice focuses mainly on finding alternative ways to create images and sounds, he constantly looks for different ways to capture images with unconventional devices. He works on sound pieces that are often presented by themselves on dark, empty spaces to emphasize the listening experience. His approach to his audio pieces is similar to the way he works with images, trying to alternate the sound sources to less common ones and altering the sound capturing process as well.

David’s practice is solely driven by the constant questioning of the established constrains of the art world. David’s artworks are based on personal struggles with structure and limits and his goal is to expose the complexities in the simple things and how he interacts with them.
